When Did Creation take Place?

So...

What is the biblical doctrine of when the creation of all existence and the universe happen or take place?

Keep in mind that this is NOT according to scientific fact, but to ancient religious dogma, belief and superstition.

Likewise, keep in mind that the Tanach is written with a Jewish mindset, worldview and religious bigotry.

According to the Torah.... creation happened on the 1st day (24 hours) of the first Jewish lunar month.

That first day (24 hours) translates into Sunday pretty much. To be technical and exact... it would be from Saturday evening at Sunset to Sunday evening at Sunset. This is just a reference point for understanding.... even though the sun and moon and stars were made on the "4th day."

The Jewish lunar calendar begins in the Spring. It goes like this.

The first New Moon that either falls exactly on the Spring equinox or one that falls anytime after that "IS" the biblical New Year! It is not in the Fall as you see in "Rabbinical Judaism."

Therefore, creation started on  Saturday evening and so the astronomical New Moon came before sunset of that Saturday, so that the first "day" would be on Sunday.

You might have grasped a fraction of these doctrines through common sense when you heard that Adam was made on the 6th day. And you correctly interpreted that to be Friday.
However, you may have not understood when in the year this supposesly happened.

So, there you go.

P.S., each day is to be viewed as a normal 24 hours, not some "one day is like a thousand years" type of thing.
