Age of the Earth: From the Bible

WHAT IS THE AGE OF THE UNIVERSE

ACCORDING TO THE TANACH

Though I personally don't believe in this young age for the earth and universe, this is what the Jewish Bible or Tanach promotes nonetheless. In the Christian world the Tanach is the so-called, "Old Testament."

Starting with Genesis and going on through the Tanach we find a non-broken chain of descendants starting with Adam to Jacob entering the land of Egypt. Then we have a date of how long we were there supposedly; then we can skip to Solomon's 4th year of his reign, because scripture tells a date from the exodus to then; after that we can count how long the Judean kings reigned over Judah to the time Nebuchadnezzar destroyed the Temple in Jerusalem in 586 BCE.

From all of these times, the age of the earth is slightly over 6,180 years old according to the pages of the Tanach, not according to scienctific fact.

1) Adam was formed from the dust of the earth on the 6th day of the first lunar month, in the Spring.  Eve was also formed on the very same day, but from Adam's rib and after Adam named all the animals

When Adam was 130 years old he begot Seth

7) Enoch was 65

       "Hebrew" comes from)

22) Jacob was 130 when he entered
       the land of Egypt (Gen 47:9)

       out of 40 (1 Kings 11:41-42)

       this is when Nebuchadnezzar
       came and burned down the Temple

       in Jerusalem in 586 BCE

So, doing the math correctly....

From Adam to the Temple being destroyed is.............3,578 years

When Nebuchadnezzar burned the
Temple...................... 586 BCE

The year from last Spring 2021

Now 6185 - 1 for the year 0000, since there is no year zero =

6,184 Years old, as of Spring 2021

So, according to the Tanach, not reality, the earth is just 6,184 years old!!!

3. The birth of Abraham in 2,215 BCE

4. The Exodus in 1,495 BCE
